Eley of Isle of Wight County, Va. and Raymond W. Eley of Portsmouth. He was predeceased by a son, Gary Thomas Eley and a sister, Mildred Reynolds. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Robert Cofield, Jr. and the Rev. William L. Vann, III. The family will be at Snelling Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
