Patricia Epperson Parker, 64, of Sycamore Avenue died Jan. 9, 1997, in Southampton Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Parker was born in Nansemond County and was the daughter of the late Marie Griggs and Milton S. Epperson Sr. She was the widow of Raymond Rudolph Parker Sr. Mrs. Parker was a homemaker and a member of Hunterdale United Church of Christ.
She is survived by two daughters, Teresa P. Jernigan and her husband, Joe, of Sedley and Nancy P. Tomlin and her husband, Billy, of Como, N.C.; a son, Raymond R. Parker Jr. and his wife, Patty, of Courtland; brother, William A. Epperson of Suffolk; eight grandchildren, Amy, Bryan and Christopher Jernigan, Carol and Taylor Tomlin, Annie, Randy and Angela Parker; and her beloved pets, Tiny and Bitsy. She was predeceased by a brother, Milton S. Epperson Jr.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. James Smith and the Rev. David Johnson. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park . The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
