Obituary of Catherine Vick Everett CATHERINE VICK EVERETT Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, March 6, 2001 COURTLAND - Catherine Vick Everett, known to all as ''Beechie,'' passed on to the Lord's arms Sunday, March 4, 2001, after a long illness. She was always strong and positive and the heart of her family. Catherine's 77 years were full of love and concern for others and a generosity beyond measure. She was a daughter of the late Joseph B. and Lula Sexton Vick and the widow of William L. Everett Jr. Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Shirley Everett Lee and husband, Norman, of Boykins and Connie Everett Burgess and husband, Joey, of Capron; a sister, Louella V. Tisdale of Franklin; two brothers, Jack W. Vick of Courtland and Jimmy I. Vick of Boykins; four grandchildren, Robin Pinner and husband, Jimmy, Jennifer Lee, Katie Burgess, and April Burgess; one great-grandchild, Chelsea Pinner; one special brother-in-law, Marvin L. Everett and sister-in-law, Betty V. Everett of Joyner; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends and neighbors. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Vincent's Grove United Methodist Church by the Rev. Beth Marie Barnett. Interment will be at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Yale. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin.
