Mrs. Felts was born in West Jefferson, N.C., and was the daughter of the late Kelly Monroe and Alice Weaver Miller. She was the widow of John Cornwell Felts. Mrs. Felts was a graduate of Millerville State Teachers College and had retired as a teacher from the Franklin City School System. She was a member of the Boykins Baptist Church, where she taught an adult Sunday school class for more than 25 years. She is survived by two sons, William C. Felts of Quakertown, Pa., and Frederick W. Felts of Boykins; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Eleanor Jeanette Felts. A graveside funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday in Beechwood Cemetery by the Rev. Thomas Caulkins. The family will receive friends at the residence and suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Boykins Baptist Church or the Boykins Fire and Rescue Squad.
