   CAPRON  Joseph Thomas J.T. Ferguson, 70, an Army veteran and retired farmer, died Jan. 31.
   A lifelong resident of Southampton County, he was a son of the late Joseph B. and Elizabeth Worrell Ferguson.
   Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Jackie Porter Ferguson; a daughter, Amy F. Nahrebecki of Newsoms; two sons, Joseph Ferguson Jr. of Capron, Christopher W. Ferguson of Courtland; three sisters, Frances F. Porter of Boykins, Jean F. Sawyer of Milwaukee, N.C., Paige F. English of Chesapeake; two grandsons, Phillip L. Ferguson and David W. Nahrebecki Jr.
   A graveside service was conducted Feb. 3 in Hollywood Cemetery, Newsoms, with the Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating. The family received friends at Wright Funeral Home, Boykins.
