Joseph T. Ferguson 

CAPRON - Joseph Thomas "J.T." Ferguson, 70, an Army veteran and retired farmer, died Jan. 31, 2003. A lifelong resident of Southampton County, he was a son of the late Joseph B. and Elizabeth Worrell Ferguson. 

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Jackie Porter Ferguson; a daughter, Amy F. Nahrebecki of Newsoms ; two sons, Joseph Ferguson Jr. of Capron, Christopher W. Ferguson of Courtland; three sisters, Frances F. Porter of Boykins, Jean F. Sawyer of Milwaukee, N.C., Paige F. English of Chesapeake; and two grandsons, Phillip L. Ferguson and David W. Nahrebecki Jr. 

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Hollywood Cemetery , Newsoms , with the Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating. The family will receive friends today from 3 to 5 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home, Boykins.
