Obituary of Jackson Clarke Fox JACKSON CLARKE FOX The Tidewater News - 11-06-2006 CAPRON - Jackson Clarke Fox, 13, died when returning home from a Boy Scout venture on Nov. 5. He was a straight-A seventh grade student and a member of the Junior National Honor Society at Southampton Academy. He was a member of the IV soccer team. He was passionate about all that he did. As a member of Boy Scout Troop 17, he earned 22 merit badges in just two years as he moved his goal of becoming the youngest Eagle Scout in his troop. Fox also served as assistant patrol leader and dreamed of becoming one of the only scouts in America to earn every merit badge. He played soccer and basketball at the YMCA and also was an avid reader. He enjoyed four-wheeling, fishing with his dad, and hunting with the Indiantown Hunt Club. Even at a young age, he was dedicated to his faith. He recently completed confirmation and served as the president of the UMYF at Capron United Methodist Church. He loved animals and hoped to attend Virginia Tech in order to achieve his goal of becoming a veterinarian. Fox loved to laugh and joke, especially with his family. Survivors include his parents, Clarke and Beth Fox; brother, Thomas Fox; grandparents, Trent and Joanne Fox and Doris Rountree Glenn; aunt Enca Glenn; uncle, Russell B.
