Obituary of Kevin Wood "Bunk" Gagner KEVIN WOOD GAGNER Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, July 7, 2002 Kevin Wood "Bunk" Gagner, 43, passed away July 4, 2002. Born in Portsmouth, he was the son of the late Jerome Justin Gagner Sr. and Mildred Heath Gagner. Bunk was employed by Union Camp for 20 years and left to become a supervisor with Spirit Construction. He recently started his own business, "River Road Forge Farm." Kevin loved big older cars, Cadillacs preferred, any and all animals, his garden, slow cooking on the grill and his family. He lived life fully and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Debra W. Gagner; a stepson, Dave; three sisters, Kathy G. Panikowski and husband Jim of Courtland, Beth G. Buist and husband Mark of Powder Springs, Ga., and Celia G. Jernigan of Dallas, Ga.; a brother, Chris J. Gagner and wife Gail of Nazareth, Pa.; two nieces, Amy Panikowski and Leigh Buist; two nephews, Justin Panikowski and Heath Gagner; in-laws, Ed and Verlie Rainey of Murfreesboro; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Jay Gagner Jr. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with burial following in Southampton Memorial Park . The family will receive friends during the day at 23325 Southampton Pkwy. (driveway directly across from the high school).
