Ethel Perry Gomer of the 5600 block of Mineral Springs Road, died Feb. 16, 1992, in a hospital.  
Mrs. Gomer was born in Washington, N.C. She was a member of Magnolia United Methodist Church.  
Survivors include her husband, Jesse Stanley Gomer; a daughter, Lavada G. Werner of Chesapeake; a son, Jasper B. Gomer of Suffolk; two sisters, Hazel P. McLaughlin and Joyce P. Barney, both of Orlando, Fla.; two brothers, Dennis E. Perry Jr. of Franklin and Lewis T. Perry of Norfolk; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.  
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Holly Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Linwood G. Cook. The family will assemble at 5628 Mineral Springs Road. Hill Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the church or to Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad.
