Obituary of Romie Edley Green ROMIE EDLEY GREEN The Tidewater News - 08-10-2006 FRANKLIN - Romie Edley Green, 89, died Aug. 9 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. Born in Shelby, N.C., he was the widower of Lena Cash Green and a son of the late Richard and Carrie Bridgers Green. He was also predeceased by a son, Charles H. Green, a sister, Annie Lee Bowman, and a brother Clifford Green. Mr. Green was co-owner and operator, with his wife, of Green's Produce Market and Nursery, and will long be remembered for being the delivery man for Hunterdale Dairies. He was a member of the Hunterdale United Church of Christ, a former member of the Hunterdale Ruritan Club and High Street Senior Citizens. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara G. Normyle and husband, Patrick, of Fairfax and Melinda G. Harrison and husband, Wallace, of Windsor; four sons, Romie B. (R.B.) wife Hazel of Franklin, James S. Green and wife, Faye, Hoyle B. Green and wife Jean, all of Courtland, and Larry R. Green and wife Lori of Franklin; 10 grandchildren, Steven L. Green, Lori G. Bailey, Robin M. Karr, Kristin A. Cunningham, Shari G. Gray, Michael B. Green, Michelle J. Presson, Jennifer G. Harrison, Kevin B.
