Obituary of PATTIE WILLIAMS HALL The Virginian-Pilot (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, April 29, 1993 Pattie Williams Hall, 98, died April 28, 1993, in Sentara Nursing Center, Chesapeake. Mrs. Hall was a native of Burgaw, N.C., and was the widow of John A. Hall Sr. She was a member of High Street United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Smith-Ferry Home Demonstration Club. Survivors include three daughters, Ruby H. Morris, Frances H. Lowe and Gail H. Tawney, and one son, Charles D. Hall, all of Franklin; five grandsons, William Allen Lowe of Franklin, Michael Tawney of Salisbury, Md., and William Tawney, John Hall and Jeffrey Hall, all of Franklin; three granddaughters, Shea L. Daughtrey of Suffolk, Carla R. Darden of Franklin and Sheryl Rawls of Richmond; and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hall was predeceased by two sons, Elmer Hall and John Allen Hall Jr., and a daughter, Irma Hall. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Southampton Memorial Park by the Rev. David Erickson. The family will receive friends at the home of Ruby and Bill Morris, 23112 Scottswood Drive. Wright Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
