   SUFFOLK - John Henry Hamilton, 37, of the 6300 block of Holland Road, a collection agent, died Oct. 11, 1992, in a hospital.
   Mr. Hamilton was born in Suffolk. He was employed with C&P Telephone Co., in Virginia Beach. He was a member of Holy Neck United Church of Christ and attended Elon college and Old Dominion University.
   Survivors include his parents, Mary Crutchfield Hamilton and John Wade Hamilton, Jr. of Suffolk; and a sister, Sylvia H. Simpson of Suffolk.
   The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. Cecil Smith. Burial will be in Holland Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today in the funeral home and at the residence.
   Memorial donations may be made to the church.
