Marguerite Holland Hancock , 86, a retired schoolteacher and principal, died April 4, 1992, in a nursing home. 
Mrs. Hancock was born in Holland and was a member of Holland United Church of Christ. She retired from the Richmond city schools. 
She was a member of Farmville Teachers College, now Longwood College. She was the widow of Ellis Hancock . 
Survivors include nieces and nephews. 
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Holland Cemetery, Suffolk, by the Rev. David M. Seymour. Hill Funeral Home, Suffolk, is handling arrangements.
