NEWSOMS - Catherine Nell Joseph, 68, died Dec. 16, 2002, at Southampton Memorial Hospital. 
   Born in Southampton County, she was a daughter of the late Livy and Mary Dunlow Hargrave. 
   Survivors include her husband, David L. Joseph; three daughters, Teri Lombardi and her husband, Joe, of Sharon, Pa., Robin Wright and her husband, Andrew, of Laurel, Md., and Lisa Joseph of Franklin; two sons, Wayne Bradshaw and his wife, Tracy, of Franklin and Tony Bradshaw and his wife, Cathie, of Newsoms; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a special cousin, Shirley Edwards. She was predeceased by a sister, Ruby Vargo, and two brothers, G.L. and Arthur Hargrave. 
   A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park . The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home and suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Mrs. Ruth Petty, 116 Southampton Road, Franklin, VA 23851.
