Johnny M. Harris, 43, of Mill Swamp Road, died April 29, 2003. He was a native of Isle of Wight County, a farm worker and a member of Mill Swamp Baptist Church. 
His father, Sidney Harris, preceded Mr. Harris in death. Survivors include his daughter, Edith Ann Harris of Surry; mother, Margaret Atkins Harris of Ivor; two sisters, Joyce Harris Carr of Windsor and Cynthia Harris Hedgepeth of Franklin; and three brothers, Timothy R. Harris, William Clayton Harris and Eddie Ray Harris all of Ivor. 
A funeral will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. in Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jim Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Mill Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, Ivor. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Isle of Wight Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 97, Smithfield, VA 23431-0097.
