Paul E. Harris, 75, died Sunday, May 19, 1996, in the East Pavilion Nursing Home, Franklin. 
He was a native of Newsoms, Va., and a member of the Branchville Baptist Church. Mr. Harris was a retired sanitation worker with Aster-Nut Products, and a farmer. 
Mr. Harris is survived by his wife, Norene J. Harris; a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia Ann Harris Person and Milton Person of Boykins; a sister, Elizabeth Harris Vaughan of Illinois; a special niece and grand niece, Mrs. Joanne Grady and Debra Grady, both of Littleton, N.C. 
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins. The family will receive friends at the residence or, an hour before the service, at Purviance Funeral Home, Boykins Chapel.
