Brynhild Nyberg Hellberg, 88, a retired registered nurse, died Dec. 29, 1991, in a hospital.

Mrs. Hellberg was born in Worcester, Mass. She was a member of Franklin Congregational Christian Church and was a former member of Franklin Women's Club. She was the widow of Samuel D. Hellberg.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Morgan of Chesapeake; a son, Dr. Carl D. Hellberg of Emporia; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

The graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Wright Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
