The Virginian-Pilot (Norfolk, VA) - February 26, 1994 Frank Duke Holland Sr. 77, of 7413 Harvest Drive, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 1994, in Southampton Memorial Hospital. A native of Nansemond County, he was the son of the late Wilbur Lee Holland and Blanch Duke Holland. Mr. Holland, a retired farmer, was a member of the Virginia Angus Association for 50 years. He was a member of South Quay Baptist Church and a former member of Carrsville Ruritan Club and the Suffolk Moose Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Minnie Butler Holland; one daughter, Betty Fischer of Richmond; two sons, Frank D. Holland Jr. and John M. Holland, both of Suffolk; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandsons. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin, by the Rev. Ron Nichols and the Rev.
