Mr. Holland was the son of the late A.L. and Addie Lee Johnson Holland and the widower of Lizzie Mae Duck Holland. A retired farmer, he was a lifelong member and former Sunday School teacher at Mount Carmel Christian Church, a 63-year member and past master of the Purdie Masonic Lodge No. 170, A.F. & A.M., member and former president of the Walters Chapter of the Woodmen of the World. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Mount Carmel Christian Church by the Rev. Robert Bennett with burial in the church cemetery. Masonic rites will be accorded. Visitation will be at 7 p.m. today in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, and at other times in the home of Betsy and Otto Wegman, 26535 River Run Trail, Walters.
