Survivors include his wife, LaVelle Herrick Draper; a daughter, Kathleen F. Draper of Kill Devil Hills; three sons, Homer V. Draper III of Kill Devil Hills, Lee K. Draper of Suffolk and Timothy M. Draper of Branchville; two sisters, Nancy D. Parker of Boykins and Evelyn D. Brown of Rocky Mount, N.C.; and six grandchildren.
