Obituary of Evelyn Christine Fields Cox Horn EVELYN CHRISTINE FIELDS COX HORN The Tidewater News  08-24-2003 FRANKLIN  Evelyn Cox Horn, 60, died Aug. 16 in Courtland Healthcare Center. Born Feb. 27, 1943, and raised in Honaker, she was a daughter of the late Willie and Maude Cox Fields. She was the wife of the late William Cox and was married to the Rev. Elster Horn for 21 years. She was a faithful member of Rock Church of Franklin. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Fields. Survivors include three daughters, Donna Cox of Richmond, Diana Cutchins and husband Bobby of Courtland and Pam Lease and husband Dave of Franklin; one son, Scott Cox and wife Pam of Honaker; a sister, Joanne Cassell and husband James of Honaker; six grandchildren, Robby and Tonya Cutchins, Heather Dann, Morgan and Dylan Cox and Colby Lou Lease; special nephew, John Fields; and many additional nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Aug. 30 at 1 p.m. at Rock Church in Franklin. A reception at the church will follow after the service.
