Obituary of Edna W. Hornok EDNA W. SIGHTLER HORNOK Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Monday, March 29, 1999 Edna W. Hornok, 71, died March 27, 1999, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was born Jan. 2, 1928, a daughter of the late Hughey and Susie Cartin Sightler. Mrs. Hornok was a retired packer with General Foods in Suffolk. She was a member of Hunterdale Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Mike F. Hornok; three daughters, Linda R. Bridges and her husband, Hubert, of Franklin, Patricia Ann Hornok of Norfolk and Deborah H. Byrum and her husband, Jimmy, of Courtland ; five sisters, Rachel Lucas of Rialto, Calif., Betty Jean Atkins of Suffolk, Georgia Barrett of Zuni, Hazel Byrum of Chesapeake and Peggy Jo Fegre of Winona, Minn.; four brothers, Wilmer Sightler of Suffolk, Harvey Sightler of Suffolk, Edward Sightler of Lexington, N.C., and Robert Sightler of Greenville, Ind.; three grandchildren, Arthur R. Ybarra IV, Michael J. Ybarra and Adam J. Byrum; and a great-grandchild, Devin M. Ybarra. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hunterdale Baptist Church with the Rev. Howard L. Vinson Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery , Courtland .
