SUFFOLK - Bertha Francis Johnson, 65, a native of Southampton County, died Wednesday, Nov. 6. 
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Community Baptist Church. 
Survived by her husband, Robert B. 'Sug' Johnson; a son, Donald R. Johnson of Suffolk; seven sisters, Bessie F. Best and Rosa L. Carr of Suffolk, Ruth Carter of Franklin, Louise Bryant, Irma Heath and Marie Fowler of Courtland, and Jeannette Carlin of Virginia Beach; three brothers, Gilbert G. Francis of Hampton, Robert C. Francis of Emporia and J. Milton Francis of Richmond; and two grandchildren. 
Funeral at 2 p.m. today at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Revs. David Nicholes and Howard L. Vinson Jr. Burial in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin.
