Margaret J. Payne died April 9, 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Margaret Regina Parham of Whitehouse Station, N.J.; two grandchildren, Colin Kendric Parham of Allston, Mass., and Kara Kristen Parham of Whitehouse Station, N.J.; and one sister, Mrs. Martha J. Allison of Charlotte, N.C. The Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Rd., is coordinating funeral arrangements. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 17, at 11 a.m. in Mount Carmel Christian Church Cemetery, Walters, Va. Mrs. Payne, a retired teacher, taught Latin at Manchester High School in Chesterfield County. She had been an active member of Ramsey United Methodist Church until she relocated to New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount Carmel Christian Church in Walters, Va., or Whitehouse Volunteer Rescue Squad in Whitehouse Station, N.J.
