Obituary of Cleo Cash Joyner CLEO C. JOYNER Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - July 18, 2003 Cleo Cash Joyner, 76, widow of R.H. Joyner Jr., died July 16, 2003 in Farmville, Va. She was a daughter of the late Lawrence Kinkle and Cammie Sue Whitsell Cash and was a retired cook for the Southampton County Jail. Mrs. Joyner was a member of Hunterdale United Church of Christ. Survivors include two brothers, Layman Lewis Cash and wife, Sandra of Greensboro, N.C., and Hunter Lukin Cash of Colorado Springs , Colo. and a devoted nephew, L. Wade Adams and wife, Katie of Appomattox, Va. She was predeceased by five brothers, Lawrence W. Cash, John S. Cash, Richard B. Cash, Edward W. Cash and Bland B. Cash; and a sister, Alice Cash Adams. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hunterdale United Church of Christ with the Rev. Dietmar Plajer officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery . The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin.
