Robert Henry Joyner Jr., 72, of 22526 Main St., died Jan. 8, 1996, in Southampton Memorial Hospital.  

A native of Franklin, he was the son of the late Dona Munford and Robert Henry Joyner Sr. He was a retired clerk for Southampton Supply Co. Mr. Joyner was a member of Hunter-dale United Church of Christ. He was a former deacon and Sunday school teacher.  

Mr. Joyner is survived by his wife, Cleo Cash Joyner, and several cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Frederick Joyner.  

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hunterdale United Church of Christ by the Rev. James X. Camak. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is in charge of arrangements.
