C. Ollie King, 82, died Sept. 16, 1997, in Southampton Memorial Hospital. 
After years of service to the public, Mr. King retired from the Medical Services Radiology Department of Southampton Memorial Hospital. 
He is survived by his wife, Susie Lee Story King; a daughter, Carole K. Harmon of Richmond; a grandson, Brian Harmon; a sister, Mary Beale of Franklin; many nieces and nephews, including one who is like a daughter, Mary Story Griffin, and a special nephew, Joe Vick. 
The family will receive friends at the residence. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. today in Poplar Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Susie King, c/o Holland-Rideout Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Franklin, Va. 23851. Holland-Rideout Funeral Home is in charge.
