Obituary of JOSEPH J. KILIAN Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - October 14, 1991 Joseph John Kilian, 64, of the 400 block of Lee St., a retired engineer, died Oct. 13, 1991, in a hospital. Mr. Kilian was born in Buffalo, N.Y. He had retired from the Process Control Group of Union Camp Corp. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of High Street United Methodist Church. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Buffalo and his master's degree from the University of Delaware. He was a member and past president of the Peanut Promenaders. He was also a member of TAPPI. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Cox Kilian; two daughters, Linda Kilian-Boyer of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Connie K. Lowden of Jersey City, N.J.; two sons, Jon J. Kilian of Cabot, Vt., and Gary H. Kilian of Clifton Forge; a brother, Leon J. Kilian of Franklin; a stepbrother, Alfred Ulrich of Lancaster, N.Y.; and 10 grandchildren. The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Poplar Spring Cemetery by the Rev. John A. Siegle. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Wright Funeral Home.
