Born in South Devon, England, he was a son of the late Joseph J. and Annie Harris Kilian, and was the widower of Toy Lawson Kilian. He was a retired engineer with the sanitation department of Washington, D.C. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Marjorie C. Kilian of Inverness, Fla.; and a step brother-in-law, Alfred Ulrick of Lancaster, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward C. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery . The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
