SUFFOLK - Margaret Speight Glaus, 92, died Sept. 3, 2003. A native of Suffolk, she was the daughter of the late John Harvey Speight and Mary Elizabeth Jones Speight. She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church where she attended the Ladies Star Class and Senior Fellowship Club. She was a homemaker. 
She was the widow of Arvin Luther Knight and Andrew Butler Glaus. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Betty K. and John H. "Tom" West of Suffolk; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Mary G. and Jim Schwalm; stepson and daughter-in-law, Andrew B. and Martha Glaus, all of Arizona; grandchildren, Bonnie W. and Bennie Speight, Johnny H. and Becke West; great-grandchildren, Pamela and Nicole Speight and Joshua and Brittany West; and a sister, Helen Savage, all of Suffolk. 
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bethlehem Christian Church by the Rev. Jonathan Palmer with interment in Holly Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence of Betty K. and John H. "Tom" West, 211 Northbrooke Ave., Suffolk. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Christian Church, 1549 Holland Road, Suffolk, VA 23434. Parr Funeral Home is serving the family.
