Nancy Knight Klotz, 64, died Jan. 20, 2004. Mrs. Klotz was a native of
Southampton County, the daughter of the late Rosa Townes and Andrew
Lewis Knight Jr. and was the widow of Charles D. "Chuck" Klotz Jr. Mrs.
Klotz was a graduate of Longwood College, retired from teaching at J.P.
King elementary school in Franklin and was a lifelong member of Boykins
United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Katherine "Kandi" Little and husband Larry
of Boykins; a son, Charles D. "Tripp" Klotz III of Redondo Beach,
Calif.; and a grandson, Andrew Grant Little.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Beechwood Cemetery
by the Rev. Edward Johnson. The family will receive friends from 7 to
8:30 p.m. Thursday at Wright Funeral Home, Boykins, and suggest
memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Ruth Petty, 116
Southampton Road, Franklin, VA 23851.
