Martha (Jan) Fender Lambert, 53, of N. High St., died May 31, 1994, at Southampton Memorial Hospital. 

Mrs. Lambert was a native of Sparks-Adell, Ga., and was a Baptist. Mrs. Lambert was predeceased by her father, James Owen Fender. 

Survivors include her husband, David C. Lambert; one daughter, Ginger L. Presson of Carrsville; two sons, Dewayne Lambert of Courtland and Gregory D. Lambert of Carrsville; her mother, Hilda Reed Fisher of Fairfield, Calif.; one sister, LaVerne F. Hardin of Fairfield; two brothers, Roy I. Fender of Fairfield and Buddy Fender of Greenville, S.C.; five grandchildren, Joshua Lambert, Brittany Presson, Danielle Lambert, Jacob Lambert and Matthew Lambert. 

A graveside funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 3, 1994, in Poplar Spring Cemetery with the Rev. David Erickson officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence and suggest memorial donations be made to the High Street United Methodist Church. Wright Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
