LASSITER The Virginian-Pilot (Norfolk, VA) - September 4, 1995 Margaret Virginia Lassiter, 82, a native of Southampton County, died Sunday, Sept. 3, 1995, at Southampton Memorial Hospital. Ms. Lassiter was the daughter of the late Alvin and Tessie Daughtrey Lassiter. She was retired from Western Auto Store in Franklin and was a longtime member of Sycamore Baptist Church, where she was a member of the T.E.L. Sunday School Class and the Missionary Society. Survivors include one sister, Almeda L. Lynch of Raleigh, N.C.; three nieces, Linda Smith, Sylvia Rowe and Andy Graham; five nephews, Jackie Lassiter, Donald Lassiter, Lynn Phillips, Johnny Lassiter and Kenny Lassiter; and several cousins. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Sycamore Baptist Church with the Rev. Reginald Warren officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery.
