Obituary of EDNA HORNE LEWIS The Virginian-Pilot (Norfolk, VA) - October 6, 1995 Edna Horne Lewis, 84, formerly of Portsmouth, died Oct. 4, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital. Mrs. Lewis, the widow of Staley L. Lewis, was a native of Southampton County, Va. She was a member of Cradock Baptist Church and its Euzelian Sunday School Class. Survivors include two daughters, Martha A. Pilant of Chesapeake, Lois Chappell of Portsmouth; one son, Robert L. Lewis of Harvey, La.; one sister, Nannie Lucille Davis of Sedley, Va.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Cradock Baptist Church by Dr. David R. Denny. Burial will be in Mt.
