Melinda Ann Lounsbury Launderville, 45, wife of Lewis R. Launderville
Jr., passed away Jan. 22, 2004, at MCV Hospitals in Richmond, Va. Born
in Mount Kisco, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Anthony Direnzo
and Gladys May Chamberlin Lounsbury. Melinda was a homemaker, had worked
as a licensed practical nurse and was a member of Faith Baptist Church,
Waverly, Va.
She is also survived by their children, Keri A. Kennedy and husband
Wayne, Andrew J. Launderville and wife Daisy, John P. Launderville,
Timothy S. Launderville, Matthew R. Launderville, Emily M. Launderville,
Joseph L. Launderville, Sarah L. Launderville, Laura G. Launderville,
Lydia J. Launderville, Caleb L. Launderville and Rebekah J.
Launderville; grandchildren, Kerianne G. Kennedy and Paula R. Kennedy;
and brothers, Samuel Peter McIntyre and wife Gail of Connecticut and
David Charles McIntyre and wife Claire of New York.
A funeral will be held at Faith Baptist Church, 6886 Georgetown Road,
Waverly, Va., Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Lewis Lawson officiating.
Interment will follow in Ivor Cemetery . The family will receive friends
Monday from 2 until 4 p.m. and from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Purviance
Funeral Home, Wakefield.
