Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Edna Person Lowe; two sons, the Honorable Judge Frederick Burton Lowe and his wife, Nancy, of Virginia Beach and James Person Lowe and his wife, Jane, of Franklin; four grandchildren, Mark Andrew Lowe, Margaret Barkley Lowe, Dawn Lowe Hinkle and Susan Lowe Toleos; and three great-grandchildren, John Hinkle, Andrew Lowe and Ashten Hinkle. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home by the Rev. Edward C. Johnson.
