Sadie Johnson March, 84, of Glen Drive, died March 22, 1996, at her home. 

Mrs. March was a native of Nansemond County and was the widow of Johnnie M. March. She was predeceased by her son, Jodie L. March and her parents, Jodie P. and Annie Hedgebeth Johnson. Mrs. March was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church, the Ruth Kersey BWC and the Carrsville Homemakers Club. 

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Mary W. March of Carrsville; three grandchildren, Brian L. March and his wife, Susan, of Carrsville, Karen M. Crawford and her husband, Richard of Portsmouth, Stephen W. March of Carrsville; six great-grandchildren, Kristin March, Courtney March, Kari March, Ryan Crawford, Brooks Crawford, Ross Crawford; nieces and nephews. 

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery by Dr. Richard L. Peerey. Memorials may be made to the church. Wright Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
