Ivey Sledge Marks, 75, died May 8, 1995. 

Mrs. Marks was a member of Vincent's Grove United Methodist Church. 

Survivors include two sons, Joseph Clyde Marks Jr. of Hopewell and Sterling S. Marks of Disputanta; and grandchildren, Cathy and Don Arpaia of Hopewell, Pam and Dale Wallace of Charles City, Sterling F. Marks Jr., Charles Ryburn IV and Kelley McCullough, all of Richmond, and Betty Chamberlain of Greenville, N.C., and Faye McCory of Brownstown, Ind.; and seven great-grandchildren. 

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Capron Cemetery in Capron, Va. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Echols Funeral Home, Emporia.
