Born in St. Matthews, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Julian Percy and Sadie Raysor Meetze and the widow of Milton McKann Jr. A former high school mathematics teacher and avid supporter of Girl Scouts, she was a member of High Street United Methodist Church and a former Sunday school teacher. Survivors include a daughter, Joan McKann Dedge of Fayetteville, N.C.; a son, Michael Raysor McKann of Baton Rouge, La.; seven grandchildren, Shannon Kesler, Thomas Dedge, Jonathan McKann, Susannah Cornelius, Patrick McKann, Wade McKann, Matthew McKann; and a great-grandchild, Grace Kesler. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward C. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery . The family will receive friends immediately following the service at The Village at Woods Edge and suggests that memorials be made to High Street United Methodist Church, P.O.
