James Reginald Miley, 66, of Brookside Blvd. in Henrico County, died March 29, 1993. 

Mr. Miley was born in Roanoke. He was retired from the Army as an ammunition specialist after 22 years. He later retired from Phillip-Morris Tobacco Co., U.S.A. He was a member of Capron United Methodist Church. 

Survivors include his wife, Maxine Turner Miley; four sisters, Margaret M. Phillips of Classne, S.C., Clara M. Ashworth of Roanoke, Ruby M. Miller of Barnsville, Ga., and Betty M. Musselman of Covington, Va.; one brother, Robert Lawrence Miley of Classne; and 16 nieces and nephews. 

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Capron Cemetery , Capron, Va., by the Rev. Forrest Musselman and the Rev. Murphy Miller. McDowell Funeral Home, Boykins, is in charge of arrangements.
