Florence Skinner Moore, 83, of the 1500 block of Copeland Road, died June 17, 1991, in a nursing home. 

Mrs. Moore, a native of Nansemond County, was a member of Liberty Springs Christian Church. She was the widow of Arthur Wesley Moore. 

Survivors include three daughters, June M. Holland of Suffolk, Jean M. O'Berry of Stone Mountain, Ga., and Jane M. Gray of Courtland; a son, Wesley Moore Jr. of Suffolk; two sisters, Inez S. Johnson of Norfolk and Annie Mae Harcum of Franklin; a brother, Emmett C. Skinner of Virginia Beach; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. 

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Liberty Springs Christian Church by the Rev. Michael Weiser, the Rev. Herschel Hill and the Rev. William Grissom. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home. 

Memorial donations may be made to the church's building fund, 3214 Whaleyville Blvd., Suffolk, Va. 23434.
