Harold G. Morris, 86, died Feb. 14, 2001. He was the widower of Alice Roe Morris and a retired painter. 

Survivors include two sons, Gordon Morris of Conway, N.C., and Mitchell Morris of Waverly; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Elton Morris. 

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Poplar Spring Cemetery . The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin.
