SUFFOLK - Evelyn Nicely Trayer, 77, died Oct. 6, 2004.

Born Aug. 16, 1927, in Augusta County, Va., she was the daughter of the
late Ruby Sheffer and George Edward Nicely and the widow of James N.
Trayer. Mrs. Trayer retired from the Suffolk Department of Social
Services. She was a member of Suffolk Presbyterian Church, the choir and
elder and member of the YMCA Chorus.

Survivors include her tow daughters, Nancy T. King and husband Wesley of
Suffolk and Donna T. Shires and husband Darrell of Glen Allen, Va.;
grandchildren, Matt King and wife Amy, Mike King and wife Holly, Jamie
Worz, Nick Worz, and Philip Worz; great-grandchildren, Amaiya Worz,
Camryn, Brady, Ashby and Brylie King.

A funeral will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at Suffolk Presbyterian
Church by the Rev. Charles Miller with Burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home &
Crematory Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial
donations may be made to the Suffolk Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund
or to EDMARC Hospice for Children, 3728 Profit Way, Chespeake, VA 23320.
