Sadie Parker Kizer, 81, a former resident of Holland, Va., died Nov. 23, 1998. 

Born March 2, 1917, in Drewryville, Va., she was a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Lucy Mae Minton Parker and the widow of William Grover Kizer Sr. She was a Baptist. 

Mrs. Kizer is survived by her son, William ``Bill'' Grover Kizer Jr. and his wife, Brenda, of Suffolk; and two grandchildren, Michelle Kizer and Ricky Kizer, both of Palmyra, Va. 

A graveside funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Poplar Spring Cemetery with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of Bill and Brenda Kizer, 2335 Box Elder Road, Suffolk. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Mrs. Ruth Petty, 116 Southampton Road, Franklin, Va. 23851. Wright Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
