Obituary of Kathryn Claud Stewart Partridge KATHRYN CLAUD STEWARD PARTRIDGE Virginian Pilot - 11-30-2004 SUFFOLK - Kathryn Claud Stewart Partridge, 93, of Drewryville, Va., passed peacefully from this life to be her Lord Nov. 28, 2004. A native of Southampton County, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Katie T. Claud. She was predeceased by two brothers John T. and Robert (Bob) Claud and by two husbands, Robert E. Stewart, Jr. and John E. Partridge. Mrs. Partridge was a member of Thomas Memorial Baptist Church and a former member of West End Baptist Church in Suffolk. She devoted her life to caring for her family and friends and her sweet spirit and generosity will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to express our sincere appreciation for the unselfish and compassionate care given her by Scott Claud, Claudette Claud, John M. Claud, Clyde Harrett and Pat Morris. Also remembered fondly is Leola Fisher, who gave Kathryn loving care for two years. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Kaye and Wayne Hylton of Roanoke, Va.; a daughter, Betty S. Ishie of Suffolk; five grandchildren, Kelly H. Wozneak, Julie K. Hylton, Ginger H. Sybers, D. Scott Ishie and Karen Ishie. Also surviving are six great-grandchildren, Laura, Alex and Matthew Wozneak, David and Timothy Sybers, Jared Ishie; and many nieces and nephews, whom Kathryn dearly loved. A memorial service to celebrate Kathryn's life will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Thomas Memorial Baptist Church, Drewryville, with the Rev. Edmund E. Ellis officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
