Pearce and Mary Speight Pearce. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for Golden Peanuts Co. in Suffolk. He was a member of Whaleyville United Methodist Church, and was a lifetime usher and member of the Fellowship Sunday school Class. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. ††Survivors include his wife, Marie Riddick Pearce of Suffolk; his daughter and sons-in-law, Mary Charlotte and David Boyette of Windsor, Va., and Sharon K. and Jim Pierce of Suffolk; a son and daughter-in-law, Charles B. Pearce Jr. and Karen Pearce of Suffolk; and three grandchildren, Amy and Matt King, Lisa Nicole Pearce and Bryan Lee Boyette. ††A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sidney F.
