Mrs. Person was born in Norfolk. She was a member of Boykins Baptist Church. She was the widow of Walter Bernard Person.  
Survivors include a daughter, Rochelle P. Worrell of Franklin; a son, W. Bernard Person Jr. of Boykins; a sister, Annie F. Steele of Suffolk; and five grandchildren.  
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Beechwood Cemetery by the Rev. Philip Motley. McDowell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
