Myrtle Powell Glover, 77, died July 26, 1998, in Sentara Leigh Hospital.
A native of Nansemond County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Randolph and Emma King Powell and the widow of Odom Smith Glover. Mrs. Glover was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church. She belonged to the Staley Circle and was secretary of the Lady's Star Class and the Bethlehem Fellowship Club.
Survivors include her sons, Charles D. Glover and his wife, Susan, and Danny S. Glover and his wife, Sally, all of Suffolk; and her grandchildren, Charles, Lisa, Ann Long, Rebecca and Kevin Glover.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Christian Church by the Rev. Charles D. Melvin, with burial in Holly Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Bethlehem Christian Church, 1549 Holland Road, Suffolk, Va. 23434.
