Hollie O. Belangia, 91, died May 4, 1997.
A native of Fountain, N.C., she was a daughter of the late George and Georgia Langley Owens and widow of Ernest T. Belangia. Mrs. Belangia was a sales clerk for Montgomery Ward and retired in 1968.
Survivors include her son-in-law, ''Chief'' J. Samuel Carter; three grandchildren, Sandra C. Matthews of Warfield, Susan C. Spruill of Chesapeake, Sherry C. Makar of Palatine, Ill.; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at the graveside in Holly Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Charles W. Thompson. R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
