Oran LaRue Randall, 78, of Route 1, retired power plant engineer, died March 28, 1991, in a Suffolk hospital. 

Mr. Randall, a native of Jersey Shore, Pa., had retired from Little Creek Amphibious Base and was a Navy veteran. He was a member of Masonic Lodge, Long Beach, Calif., and was a Baptist. 

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Turner Randall; a son, William L. Randall of Zuni; a sister, Jean Crisp of Jersey Shore; two brothers, William F. Randall of Chesapeake and Clifford L. Randall of Martinsville; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. 

The funeral with Masonic rites will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Holland-Rideout Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. Steve Bradshaw. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Christian Church Cemetery, Walters, Va. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.
